Independent reviews

Cigar reviews are opinions of their individual authors, not guarantees about products, venues or health. A reviewer should identify the correct cigar brand, line, size and relevant construction specifications when known. A numerical score represents that reviewer’s subjective assessment. Paid placement does not change editorial scores.

Reviewers may display a name or use an anonymous public byline, but private contact details may be collected for anti-spam and verification purposes and should not be displayed. A review may be rejected if it is fabricated, impersonates another person, repeats promotional copy, makes unsupported factual accusations, or conceals material compensation. Claims that might injure the reputation of identifiable people or businesses require factual support and proper attribution.

Advertising and sponsorship

Ads, advertorials, member promotions and sponsored posts must be identified as such. Material connections—payments, free products, discounts or other benefits—must be disclosed. No advertiser may require favorable editorial treatment in exchange for payment. We prohibit misleading health or reduced-risk claims, youth-directed tobacco marketing, unlawful sale offers, improper giveaways, and unauthorized use of third-party logos or photographs.

Contributions and member blogs

Contributors must have rights to the text, images and other material they submit; they retain their copyright but grant the publisher permission to display and reasonably edit accepted submissions. Membership fees, if a separate paid-hosting service is activated, pay for access to a hosting and submission service—not automatic publication. Editors may seek corrections and supporting material before accepting submissions.

Corrections and removal requests

Send specific factual corrections, a link to the disputed item, and supporting documents using the contact page. The publisher may update, annotate, decline or remove material after review. Anyone submitting a complaint should identify the exact challenged statement rather than demanding suppression of an entire topic without explanation.

Privacy and security

Do not post private medical, payment, home-address, identification or other sensitive information about another person without a lawful basis. Do not submit malware, abusive automation, impersonation or deceptive links. The site’s privacy policy describes applicable practices; please contact the publisher if a notice appears outdated.

Health information
